We are graphic designers.
We are qualified tutors.
We are basketball enthusiasts.
We want to take our three passions and use them to help the community. It's simple.
By utilising our wealth of skills, experience and enthusiasm we aim to help get the community to:

Improve their cognitive skills through art.

Improve their physical and emotional well-being through basketball.

Improve local communities by combining creative and sporting initiatives that lead to ownership and pride of individuals in surrounding areas.
We want to help get the community engaging with art and graphic design, and with any luck inspire them to become the next David Carson or Ishambard Kingdom Brunel. Art and design are not only incredible in their own right, but help develop strong, cognitive well-being – and is just an awesome industry to be part of.
We aim to get the community to spend less time in front of devices and more time outside being active in the fresh air playing basketball.
Ultimately, we aim to help bring a positive change to local communities by combining our knowledge, love and devotion through art, basketball and public engagement.
The details
We feel that we can use design for a greater purpose. Our mission is to uplift the community through social art workshops, to build a sense of pride and ownership of where you live and to promote community spirit.
As experienced designers it's easy for us to respond to a brief and create a design ourselves, this is something we've been doing for years, but, where would be the fun in that?? We feel engaging with the community through social media platforms and word of mouth to participate is far more on point with our values. We invite people to come and join us, chat informally about the mission and allow their creativity and design ideas to flow organically. This gives a sense of individual and community ownership and pride to the final product. Just imagine seeing your design, or a collaboration of your team mates ideas come to life on the very floor of the basketball court you are playing on!! AWESOME, right?!?!
As qualified tutors, we have undergone the training and know what's involved in inspiring the youth to become (hopefully) better. We meet with children and young people regularly who may not have had the easiest start, or smoothest education history and we help, through art and design, to develop them into the human beings they want, and have the potential to be. We know how to get the best out of those who turn up and take part in our shenanigans.
And finally... Basketball itself! What. A. Sport!! It's a fast-paced, energetic, team-focused sport that can be played indoors and outdoors so even the elements can't stop it. Then, there's the players themselves, what an inspiring bunch of athletes. Have you ever seen Michael Jordan dunk from the three-throw line? Or watch Caitlin Clark drop 49 points like it's a walk in the park? Not to mention Kobe's last game against Utah... Absolute Goosebumps.
